Mobolaji is the first son of the family and has two brilliant sisters before him. He had his secondary, primary and nursery education in Lagos after which he proceeded to bag a degree in Agriculture from the University of Ibadan.
He spent his early working years teaching in secondary schools. He taught Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as well as Agricultural Science.

Ailment and Surgery
All of a sudden, Mobolaji developed what is called ‘adenocarcinoma’, in medical terms, around his neck that led to the removal of his upper jaws. He was operated upon in a surgery which took not less than 10 hours early in May 2013 at the Lagos State Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria. The medical bills (including various lab tests, surgery, therapy, transportation etc) totaled 1.6 million naira ($10,000) which was donated by church members, classmates, friends, family and extended circles. God bless them all! Amen.

Second Surgery
The reason for this appeal is that Mobolaji after the first surgery, can no longer eat well or speak properly like he did before going for the operation. This is a pathetic situation which calls for Re-construction Surgery scheduled to have taken place in Apollo Hospital at Ahmedabad in India within the third and fourth weeks of November 2013. However, we’re still looking forward to meeting the financial requirements.

$25,000 Budget
The tentative estimate for the exercise is $25,000 which covers consultancy fees, anesthesia, surgical fees by the chief consultant and two assisting surgeons, post operation care/treatment, various laboratory tests as well as therapy after operation. It also includes cost of obtaining visa, feeding and moderate accommodation covering 3 good months.
Appeal
From the brief survey of issues above, it is obvious that urgent financial support is required of which we, his parents have a strong faith in the Lord, that internal and external financial support shall see Mobolaji through in Jesus Name.
I am using this medium to solicit your financial support for my son who recently underwent surgery for “adenocarcinoma”, a rare form of cancer that led to the dissection of his neck and removal of his upper jaw in May 2013 at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH).
After the surgery, he also went through radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Ever since, he has not been able to feed well or talk properly.
