Style By: Memory Mbewe

My name is Memory Mbewe, I'm a wife and mother of none. I hold an honours degree in Accounting and I'm a fully qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) alternatively known as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in other countries.

Currently I work as an Auditor in one of the largest auditing firms in the UK . I have had a thing for fashion  since my teen-hood, but my parents believed fashion was for the brainless and they wanted the best for their daughter hence the accounting route.

I grew up shy, still am shy however, standing behind the camera brings out the fashionista that you see now.

I am fashion, my closet defines me, what you see in my pictures is the real me, fashion is my first love (after God of course) and to top it off I wear all my clothes with a smile, its infectious, you cant help but fall in love with it.

In my world, dressing up is the most exciting part of the day, and there's no way I'm going to waste a day wearing something ordinary.

How you would describe your style?

Im elegant , polished, very feminine , colour and pattern centric yet conservative . I love skirts,  and im obsessed with full skirts!

I believe the joys of being a woman lies in dressing up and full skirts may me look and feel ladylike which is why I cant ever get enough of them.

I'm a fearless colour lover and would pull off any colour without the slightest hint of hesitation.I am a sucker for prints; african, florals, leopard, and all sorts any day is prints day.

Where do you shop?

I'm pretty much a high street girl I'm always in  Zara & River Island , I'm also an Asos, Choies, SheInside & Lilly's Kloset junkie!

For my shoes I love Lola Shoetique, Lebelle Shoetique, Aldo & Zara. If you see me with heavy bags under my eyes then it's definitely my obsession with these online shops, where I just click away band forget about sleep.

What are your favourite brands?

Asos, Zara, River Island are by far my best high street brands. Michael Kors - is my favourite designer for all my watches & bags! I'm always in an MK watch on all my pictures, I cant do without it. Its my favourite accessory that I live by.



Christian Louboutin- my all time favourite shoe heaven , im obsessed with these heels, Pigalle been the  most precious investment I have in my closet.


On my wishlist are the breath taking Oh so Kate. I also have fallen in love with Casadei- I dont own one yet! but I'm working on it.

If you had to get rid of all of your clothing except for one item, what would you keep?

I would keep my one and only Pigalle by Christian Louboutin, its the most expensive item in my closet and for that reason you can take everything else but my Pigalle's.
