NAFDAC Reformer Dora Akunyili Passes Away At 59

Former Minister of Communication and DG of NAFDAC Dora Akunyili has passed away.
Dr Akunyili had been receiving treatment for a serious illness in India. On May 30th a message was released on her social network asking fans to disregard rumours that she had passed away.

Dr Akunyili impacted Nigeria and received global recognition during her tenure as Director General of Nigeria’s National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC). Very sad news.
